The intuition-gratitude circle
In our information-heavy world we need to build our intuition more than ever before.
Facts and evidence are useful in lots of ways, but we also need to trust our feelings.
Intuition is like an inner compass. It helps us find our true north.
When your intuition is strong, you have a greater sense of self.
Decision-making is easier and you are also more able to recognise when the universe is trying to tell you something!
I send out a regular newsletter called ‘Small Things’.
This is because I believe that small things make a big difference in life. I have many small things I feel grateful for, and I try to hold onto that philosophy.
When you notice and appreciate small things, you learn to listen to yourself, your feelings, your inner-knowing, and this is what strengthens your intuition.
There is a body of evidence* that shows that gratitude makes us feel happier.
Gratitude flows naturally when you cultivate an appreciation for small things.
It’s a simple thing to do.
- Put aside five minutes to sit somewhere with a pen and paper.
- Put your phone away and make yourself a glass of water or a cup of tea.
- Sit with your paper and write the date at the top.
- Without overthinking it, write down three things that you feel grateful for.
This is so easy, and you can do it from anywhere.
Connect with intuition
The simple gratitude habit I’ve shared with you is something I’ve worked with for more than two years. I can’t say I do it every day, but I do it most days.
By taking time to reflect and write a list of things you are grateful for, you get a stronger sense of self.
From this small beginning, you can build a gratitude practice. [Related post Gratitude makes everything better].
Gratitude and intuition form a circle that creates happiness and confidence.
If you’ve found time for the exercise, I’m hoping you feel more connected with your intuition, and perhaps you have a greater sense of contentment.
Small things really do make a difference.

I can highly recommend Tracy. She has such a kind and open manner, and always listens to your symptoms but also to everything else that is going on in your life! And then treats the whole picture.
Homeopathy offers a positive space to reflect on your life as a whole, not only to treat your symptoms.
